What is volunteering about?
Ever wanted to repair your own bike, but didn’t know where to start?
Interested in building bicycles from scratch?
Know how to do the basics but wish you could do more?
Fancy making useful objects from reclaimed bike parts?
Know a lot about bikes and want to share what you know with others?
Would you like to help us fundraise and organise outreach events?
Bike Rescue is looking for volunteers to be involved in the repair of donated bikes and in our community work. There is definitely something for everyone at Bike Rescue! Why not give it a try?
Why volunteer with Bike Rescue?
It’s a great way to learn how to repair and maintain your own bike!
If you are looking for work it may provide you with a useful skill!
If you are already an experienced mechanic, it’s a way of sharing your knowledge.
You can help provide bikes for underprivileged people both here in York and in Ghana!
It’s a great way of meeting new people!
If you think you would enjoy being a volunteer with Bike Rescue why not email me:
Tony at firstname.lastname@example.org, or pop into one of the volunteer workshops, which are at Bike Rescue, Walmgate on Wednesdays from 10:00-4:00
